When the dummy bar guides the billet out of continuous casting crystallizer and the withdrawal straightener roll, it is decoupled from the billet and parked above the billet roller table.

The biggest advantage of the billet rigid dummy bar is that the dummy bar will not stretch and swing during its movement, and the casting and drawing billet are stable, which is not easy to produce shaking.
The billet rigid dummy bar is composed of dummy head and dummy bar body. The billet dummy bar body is divided into several sections. The transition joint of dummy head and dummy bar body, as well as the front and rear sections of dummy bar body are connected by side plates with pins or keyways.
The main performance requirement of the billet rigid dummy bar is high strength and not easy to deform. At the same time, the billet dummy bar has good verticality and parallelism, so that the billet dummy head can enter the crystallizer smoothly.
